I know nothing about good poker or casino pc games. My older brother is really in to Texas holdem in particular and i am trying to find a good pc game that i can get him for his birthday. I’m trying to make sure I understand the probabilities of poker, for that I need to take into account the amount of cards in the deck at any time. So if I fold, in a 3 player game, and the other 2 players call eachother - will the dealer put my folded cards back into the deck.

Also before the flop, fourth street and river the dealer is supposed to burn one card respectively, are these burnt cards also shuffled back in for the next interval?

I have read some books, Harrington on Holdem, David Sklanskys and Mason Malmuths book on limit poker and I have built a pretty solid foundation. What I would like to know is the Tight Agressiive style the best option. I see all of these aggressive players play so wild at times and they make a profit from it. How do I get past the fear of jumping into that style, and would it be profitable in the long run.
I appreciate the practice practice practice response. However Tight Aggressive is a style, its playing very few hands but what hands you do play, you play very agressively. You do need to mix it up a bit because if someone labels you as a rock then the hands you do get involved in people wont play with you because your always playing the nuts. But when you do get a player its a huge payoff. If you play to many hands however people will believe your hand is strong less often. I suppose it is a balance of both, discipline and patience, thank you for your responses.

We play no limit texas holdem as a group of friends a few times a month, about 8-10 around the table normally. Play is pretty lose, but most people seem to know what they are doing. I’m wondering if anybody has a proven system of play that consistent takes the money home? =) We normally play for $5 each a game, then have 1st/2nd/3rd prizes… it is like a “sit n go” type of game, everybody gets 800 worth of chips for the start of each game.
